Well, I've got some explaining to do! First of all, I do apoligize for not posting to this blog in so long! Ihave been terrible about keeping in touch and for that, I am sorry. I do not plan to post from September til now. I'm just going to start with what is happening in our lives now.....
Kevin was accepted into Notre Dame's MBA program!!!! This is a huge dream come true for him and a major accomplishment! We have been seeking the Lord's perfect plan for this part of our lives.. and we believe this is it! And, every single detail has fallen nicely into place. We are more excited than words can explain. Kevin will be a full time grad student and I will be a full time mom. We'll be moving to a state and town we've never known... and living as poor college students. :) And, we'll be loving every minute of it.
I must say that every Notre Dame representitive has been amazingingly welcoming to us. We spent a weekend up there to get to know some folks and see the campus, ect. It was a great weekend and we have met a lot of awesome people so far! I know we will meet a lot more people in the Notre Dame community in the coming year... and we're looking forward to it! I know life long friends will be made.
This is going to be an amazing year... and we have prepared our hearts. We know it's not going to be easy... but, we are ready for the adventure! We look forward to a year full of new experiences, new friends, and most importantly (for us) new beginnings. We are ready to take on this year, no matter what it brings. As I said, our hearts are prepared for this whole process.. the good, the bad, and anything in between. We truely believe we are headed to where the Lord has us.. and that makes it all even better!!!!!!
So, here are a few pictures of the welcome weekend we had in ND. I'll start here and continue to journal our year living in Notre Dame, Indiana!

shopping!
So, come to find out Alivia is an amazing shopper already! She hit every rack and picked out her favorites yelling "cute, cute" at everything. I couldn't get her out of the store and in a way I didn't want to get in the way of her natural ability to shop. She'll need that gift when we're in those crazy teenager years.
